General:
BK SuperAuction has established itself as a premier venue for the automotive memorabilia market. Our auctions draw many hobbyists, collectors and aficionados. The auction is also frequented by retailers looking for exceptional products for their stores. We put a lot of effort into maintaining relationships with both our consignors and clientele. Due to the high quality of our consigned items and clientele, many items in our auctions fetch prices much higher than anticipated. We welcome the opportunity to help you get top dollar for your consignments.
Auction Setup
All items will be put on display, lot numbered with color coded stickers, photographed and entered into our software database.
A form for each lot is then printed in duplicate and added to our auctioneers binders which contain.
- a separate page for each lot
- description of the item
- special features
- high and low selling estimate
Winning bidder and price are manually recorded in the binder by the auctioneer and clerk.
A runner then takes the clerks sheets to our office where the selling price and buyer number is immediately entered into our database for invoicing.
When possible, once an item has been sold it is brought to our check out room.
Buyers are issued a hard copy receipt on payment.
Our staff will then release the item to the purchasers with their paid receipt.
Enhancing Customer Experience
- For indoor locations we run a live slideshow of lots as they are being sold.
- 60" screen behind the auctioneer and facing the audience allows our customers to clearly see each item as it comes up for bidding
- Several smaller screens are placed around the facility so everyone has good visibility no matter where they are
- We have an amplified sound system so the auctioneer can always be heard.
- All items will be in full view for potential buyers to see what is being sold each day.
- Our set up process is well thought out, and presentation is very important to us.
- Whenever possible we start setting up displays weeks in advance in secure locations.
- No worry for the consignors and nothing gets disturbed.
- Public viewing is usually available the day before the sale.
- Private viewing is also offered by appointment only.
